Taking on a few projects at a time

I design and build websites and apps

Basis Creative is me, a designer and developer based in Brisbane, Australia. Whether it's something new or something that needs work, I can help.

How I can help

What I do

Websites, web apps and internal tools, designed and built from start to finish.

Not sure where to start? I can help you pick the right tools and work out what to build first.

Already have something? I can fix the slow page, the confusing bit or the feature that never quite worked.

How I work

Simple software that does its job and is easy to look after.

I make sure the foundations are solid, so things keep working as they grow.

Fewer moving parts and clear code that someone else can pick up later.

No account managers or handoffs. You talk to the person doing the work.

FAQ

How much does a project cost?

It depends on the job, so I'll give you a fixed quote after a quick chat about what you need.

How long will it take?

Small fixes usually take a week or two. A new website or app is more like 4–10 weeks.

Do you only work with Brisbane clients?

No. I'm based in Brisbane and happy to meet in person if you're local, but I work with people all over Australia.

Can you help with a small job?

Yes. A slow page, a broken form or a feature that never worked properly are all good reasons to get in touch.

Who owns the work?

You do. Once it's paid for, the code, design and accounts are all yours.

What happens after launch?

I can stay on for updates and fixes, or hand everything over with clear notes so anyone can pick it up.
